We were contracted to tile a bathroom floor in Downtown Sacramento CA. The existing sub floor was a bit of a headache due to half of it being wood and the other half being gypcrete. We used a high quality crack isolation membrane before any of the tile was installed.
The home owner chose a 1"x1" hexagon tiles on a mat. They also chose to install a ceramic cove base instead of the usual wood base boards. Like always we used a high quality thin set to install the tiles to the membrane and wall. |

This Monday we will start a very unique tile shower in Davis Ca. This shower will take some very unique tile work. The walls and the actual tub will be mud floated and tiled. This whole shower will be tore out, there will be new plumbing and all of it will be mud floated and water proofed. This is also another shower installation that failed over the years due to improper waterproofing and installation techniques.

The biggest complaint I hear from home owners is that they hate grout lines. "They get dirty, they are hard to clean". Most tile contractors in Sacramento do not provide the service or grout that can solve this problem. For the last 3 years I have been providing a stain free, mold free, maintance free grout to my customers. This type of grout does not need to be sealedever!It will not get stained or crack. Its called TRUCOLOR GROUT. Its one of the best grouts out there. I can install this type of grout on any of my tile or stone installations. |

Divine Tile & Stone is now fabricating and installing granite counter tops. We understand that customers want a one stop shop tile company. That is why we have decided to install granite counter tops again. We used to install them but due to the economy we stopped for a couple years. Now we are offering the service to our clients. We mainly install pre-fabricated granite but will do some full fabrication granite counter tops. With the way the economy has been for the last couple of years, many tile installers and tile contractors have unfortunately resorted to using inferior, low quality materials on their tile and stone projects, without any notice given to the home owner. Most people do not realize that their are many grades of quality when it comes to thin sets, grouts, waterproofing membranes, anti-fracture membranes etc. Of course this does not mean that the most expensive thin set is always the best option. Each type of material is used for a spacifiec type of application. |

As a customer service driven tile contractor, we serve many of our clients very far from our home base. We have tiled many homes and business through out Northern CA. I feel a great sense of appreciation when a client living an hour away chooses us to do there tile work, when at the same time there are many tile company's in that general area to choose from. Many of the homes we've done are very far from any big cities or freeways. Just last month we did a fairly large project which took us to a home hidden in the sierra mountains. |
