Here are some pictures that I would like to share regarding tile over concrete slab. Usually, a concrete slab does not move or crack. If it does move or crack is does it in a minute way. But in this case, the cracks that formed were huge. This is a top view of the crack. In this case the crack caused the tile to tent which then caused the tiles to crack and come loose. What we did was we ground down the existing thin set and also ground down both sides of the crack to completely flatten out the floor. |

This is the best time to get some tile work ,right before the holidays! We have been very busy with clients who have chosen to to do this. We not only serve the Sacramento area but will travel to the bay area and as far away as Lake Tahoe. Two of our current projects take us to Atherton CA and El Dorado CA. We should have many photos of these completed projects up within the next couple weeks. The project in Atherton consists of glass mosaic tile on both the guest and master bathroom. The project in El Dorado consists of high end porcelain tiles for the master bathroom, fireplaces and a medallion at the main entry floor. Please check back for updates and photos. If you desire a quality focused tile contractor please feel free to give us a call at any time, or simply e-mail us to set up consultation.

We have finally gotten the time to put up the bathroom remodeling pictures in El Dorado Hills ca. This tile project took about 4 weeks to complete. We provided all the services to get the shower fully functional. Such as, the demo work, all the plumbing, Sheetrock installation, hot mop shower pan, Travertine tile installation and all the way down to the bull nosing of the travertine. We try to provide a one stop shop for all of our customers, the benifit of this is that there is only one tile company inside your home when doing a full bathroom remodel like this one. |

We referred to the customer by here mother who we just did a granite tile kitchen with a tumbled stone back splash in West Sacramento. Her mother told here that we were a high quality tile contractor, that could provide high quality tile installations at a reasonable price. So she gave us a call and we set up an estimate. At the time of the estimate she wanted to tile her whole living room, bathroom and a laundry room. Soon after we started she was very impressed with our work and decided to tile her whole master bedroom and bathroom. |

We previously did a kitchen remodel in Davis CA, many of the neighbors asked for a card when we were there (we were there for about 3 weeks). Well a few months later I got a call from one of them requesting a estimate from us. Fast forward a couple days and we were awarded the job. The job consisted of about 1500 sq. ft. of flooring. There was existing carpet, linolium, tile and baseboards that we removed and hauled away. The home owners went to Cortopassi Tile off of Bradshaw rd. to pick out the tile for there floor. |

DAY 4:After we let the hot mop dry, we came back the next day and began to install the moisture resistant sheet rock. We installed it with screws instead of nails, we also waterproofed the window seals and all corners. After all of the sheet rock was installed we prepped the shower walls, seat and curb with chicken wire. The wire is what actually hold the mud on the wall. We provided sheet rock installation services for showers and tubs, this makes it less stressful for our customers. Now we are ready for mud! |

One of our current projects takes us to the beautiful town of El Dorado Hills CA. Our client had an existing shower and tub and wanted to make it into a deluxe master bath shower with a bench seat. This shower will be totally torn out and taken down to the bare studs. Our client chose to use a 18x18 travertine tile with a 1/8" grout joint. All walls and seat will be fully mud bed floated (this is done to be be 100 percent level and plumb, cannot be done with cement board). There will also be a glass block window and all exposed travertine edges will be bull nosed and polished. |
