The biggest complaint I hear from home owners is that they hate grout lines. "They get dirty, they are hard to clean". Most tile contractors in Sacramento do not provide the service or grout that can solve this problem. For the last 3 years I have been providing a stain free, mold free, maintance free grout to my customers. This type of grout does not need to be sealed ever! It will not get stained or crack. Another great product in the tile trade is called Ditra. It is made by a company named Schluter. Schluter-DITRA serves as an uncoupling layer, waterproofing membrane, and vapor management layer that accommodates moisture from beneath the tile covering. Further, DITRA performs all these functions while still providing adequate support/load distribution for the tile covering. It prevents the tile and grout from cracking due to the cement slab or wood sub-floor moving. This product will extend the life of you tile installation.
